Mayim™ MAX Flood Barriers
The Mayim™ MAX flood control barrier is an easy to deploy flood control system that installs quickly and stores compactly. Sections are simply laid next to each other and connected using the unique insert and lock connection system.
The Mayim™ MAX can handle uneven surfaces with the extended flap that will conform to the ground and flexible curve pieces to adjust to any angle.
When the Mayim™ MAX barrier is ballasted by water, rising waters increase the ability of the flood barrier system to hold back flood waters, providing damming and water diversion abilities.

Spring Loaded Locking Mechanism
How Mayim™ MAX Works
1) Water Pressure Creates Support
Mayim™ MAX is anchored down in place through a direct correlation between flooding water pressure on the standing Mayim™ MAX wall and bottom foundation. The bottom foundation allows for the diversion of leaking water which eliminates counter productive pressure.
2) Sealing Off Leakage
The foam seals on the front underside of Mayim™ MAX helps to minimize potential leakage and seepage of water while deployed.
3) Damming Ability
The supporting wall of Mayim™ MAX is available in 40” height. We recommend damming to within 1” of the top height of the barrier, so that our 40” tall barrier is suitable to protect against floods of roughly 38” water levels.
4) Conforms to Uneven Surfaces
The extended PVC flap will conform to uneven surfaces and secured together with heavy duty velcro. When the flaps are not in use they are secured with a snap closure to the unit.
Flexible Curve Pieces
MB-MAX-IC: Inward Curve Barrier
MB-MAX-OC: Outward Curve Barrier
Mayim™ MAX’s Flood Barrier Curve pieces allows the flood barrier to surround a perimeter and protect against unwanted water. The durable PVC material easily curves to whichever angle you desire and is anchored on each end to snap and lock into your Mayim™ MAX straight flood barrier pieces.

Simple Set Up
Stage
Gather the compactly stored Mayim™ MAX Barriers and load them stacked onto a dolly for quick transport.
Roll the stacked Mayim™ MAX Barriers to the desired protection site.
Position
Start connecting Mayim™ MAX Flood Barriers from left to right.
Keep the “L” shape of Mayim facing outwards towards the expected flood.
Velcro Flaps
Flaps are optional to deploy and are vital when the barrier is on uneven surfaces to protect seepage.
Unsnap the flaps from the unit and lay flat.
Velcro the flaps together to provide a seamless protection front.
Connect
Tip the flood barrier at an angle and slide the bottom foot connector prong into the receiver loop on the adjacent panel.
Connect top sections by locking the sections into each other, the product will then be locked into place with the systems spring loaded mechanism.
Connect the bottom yellow PVC flap velcro once barriers are positioned.
Additional Support For System
Insert the optional metal bracket for even more support into the back of the unit.
Tip the bracket into opening slot on panel and angle to the ground.

The Mayim MAX barrier is designed to be installed by unskilled personnel and no tools are required for assembly or dismantling. Sections are stacked neatly for use and can be hand carried to the site or transported in a stack or on a pallet. Installation uses Mayim MAX’S unique tip, click, and lock system, which requires no additional resources. Connect the bottom yellow PVC flap velcro once barriers are positioned.
-
Yes, we do have a 20” tall Mayim™ Flood Barrier (MB1), a 30” tall Mayim™ Flood Barrier (MB2) and a 40” tall Mayim™ Flood Barrier (MB-MAX). Please contact sales for more information.
-
The Mayim MAX Flood Barrier is manufactured using high quality ABS Material that is injection molded with UV protection. Flood Panels are molded with structural support ribs, which serve as buttresses to strengthen the barrier, so that it can handle the tremendous pressures and weight of water.
-
While we recommend setting up the barriers when needed and breaking down after use, the flood panels barriers are UV inhibited to protect against material degradation and color fading.
-
The Mayim MAX Barrier’s material has an operating temperature range of -10 to 115F, so it can be used in extreme cold and heat.
-
All Mayim MAX flood barriers have a neoprene foam seal on the front underside of each panel, which creates a seal with the ground below and the adjacent panel. The Extended PVC Flap will conform to the ground below. When water levels rise, the weight enhances the the seal by increasing the downward and outward pressure.
-
Each Mayim barrier can be adjusted 3 degrees in either direction. For larger turns, such as 90 degree turns around a building, use our MB-MAX-OC Outward and MB-MAX-IC Inward turn sections. Each provide 33+ degrees of turn and 3 placed side-by-side creates a 90 degree turn.
-
There are 3 flood wall systems to choose from. The MB1 - 20” high flood panel, will protect against 19" of water, the MB2 - 30” high flood panel, will protect against 29" of water and the MB-MAX - 40” high flood panel, will protect against 39" of water.
-
We recommend staging the flood barriers on a dolly for ease of transport, but they are lightweight enough to carry a few panels at a time, by hand. For larger projects, you can store and transport panels on standard shipping pallets.
-
Mayim MAX Water Barriers are designed to be deployed quickly by unskilled personnel. Each barrier weighs between 32-37 lbs., allowing nearly anyone to move sections into position. The locking mechanism is easy and intuitive, allowing for rapid deployment of approximately 3 sections per minute, or roughly 15 minutes for 100ft of protection.
-
The Mayim MAX barrier system has built in flexibility, allowing it to turn slightly, even when using only Straight (MB1/MB2/MB-MAX-S) sections. There is a 3 degree flexibility in the design, in either direction, meaning you can use the connection system to slightly turn sections. You can also utilize inward and outward curved sections (MB1-IC-OC / MB2-IC-OC / MB-MAX-OC-IC) to create more dramatic turns around obstacles or to make corners (use 3 units to make a 90 degree turn in either direction).
-
You can hose down the panels after use, making sure to clear away any stuck on debris or stains. Standard household cleaners can be used to clean stubborn dirt. Stack sections after they are completely dry.
